When I was a child this was my favorite cookie. I could hardly wait for mom to finish making them. Most of the time I would sneak in and take one before she had finished baking them. I have put my own spin on this recipe by adding a couple more ingredients to it I hope everyone likes it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

½ cup (1 stick + 6 tbsp) Unsalted Butter , softened

¾ Cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar

½ Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Eggs

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

1 1/2 Cups All-Puroose Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/2 Teaspoon Salt (optional)

1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter

1 8 Oz. package of Cream Cheese

3 Cups Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned)

1 Cup Raisins

1 cup Chopped Nuts

1 Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat Butter and sugar on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy

2 Add eggs and vanilla, Beat well

3 Add creamcheese and peanut butter, Beat well

4 Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, Mix well

5 Add oats, raisins and nuts, Mix well

6 Drop dough by rounded table spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool conpletely. Store tightly covered. Makes around 4 dozen cookies.
